Who says "Italy", says - of course - "pizza". For many years, I experimented making pizza in a traditional oven and on a pizza-stone on the BBQ. Not bad at all, but I couldn't match the quality of a pizza found in the real pizzeria.
After reading quite some reviews and articles on the subject, it turns out the reason is really simple: the temperature. A pizza must be prepared in a couple of minutes, heating to about 450 a 500 degrees Celsius (which your traditional oven can not provide).
So I finally ordered the "G3-Ferrari" pizza-over, which delivers the required temperature. Since then, the pizza is just perfect !
